Welcome to the Fourth Annual Cruiser Expo, Your Link To The Cruising Lifestyle, January 13, 14, 15 2012! This fun and exciting three day event occurs within and during the 38th Annual Stuart Boat Show, the largest in-water boat show between Stuart, Florida and Annapolis, Maryland. Cruiser Expo 2011 changed the idea that a cruising boat did not have to be a trawler, although many of you have enjoyed your trawler for years. If you stay aboard your boat for any length of time it then becomes your cruiser...And by widening the Cruiser umbrella we have captured a new audience with which to have fun with. We now include sailboats, trawlers, express cruisers, motor yachts, cuddy cabins and sport fishing boats. Our name now better reflects our cause which is to educate and entertain those who have the desire to live the Cruising Lifestyle. Cruiser Expo 2012 is a compilation of 26 enlightening seminars, timed to allow for open Q&A with each speaker. During the course of the three-day weekend, Cruiser Expo will cover subjects that are designed for both the novice and the seasoned skipper. Topics throughout the three days will captivate everyone in your crew-Admiral, Captain, Mate and Guest! Attendees to the Cruiser Expo will have VIP access to our EXCLUSIVE custom air-conditioned Cruiser Expo Tent. Between seminars you are invited to relax in the comfortable Cruiser Cafe, visit with new cruising friends or just kick your feet up after exploring the Stuart Boat Show. The Cruiser Expo tent will house all of our seminars beginning with coffee and pastries every morning at 8am. Each day the seminar series starts at 9am, a full hour before the Stuart Boat Show opens to the general public. Lunch passes will also be provided while you meander throughout the Stuart Boat Show. On Friday and Saturday afternoons “It’s 5 O’clock Somewhere” and we’ll host a get-to-know-each-other cocktail hour just before the show closes. With so many local Stuart discounts, including your hotel and marina stay, not to mention the camaraderie that goes along with the cruising lifestyle, Cruiser Expo should not be missed. Set at the most convenient of all Florida boat show locations, and using three of the most recognized marina facilities in Stuart, Cruiser Expo is held at HMY's Waterway Marina, Apex Marine, and Stuart Harbor. The Cruiser Expo is connected on land by the closure of ½ mile of Old Dixie Highway, and marina to marina using a quarter mile of floating docks to increase slip space.
